i was wondering what would be best, should I just let them grow naturally or should I top/fim if so when and how many times. Holes will be 25-30 gallons

Many factors come into play when trying to grow for weight. Genetics, nutrients, amount of sun light, weather and the biggest one is timing. Putting plants outside at the right time is important when trying to get the most growth without any shock or stunted growth.

If u put any plant in the ground at the right time you can make 1lb per plant easily outdoors. I would say focus on the health of the plant and she will return u with special goodies

To answer the question if u should top or let it grow naturally I would say it all depends if u have the open area without any noisy neighbors. Last thing u want is to grow a huge tree u can't hide.
