Tracking an order.

How long after my order has been dispatched can I track it? Its been 30hrs since My order has been dispatched and I received my tracking number however Royal Mail says "

I recommend that you don't track it. That shit will drive you crazy. Just forget about it and it'll be there in no time.
 
Yeah, the tracking is not so great. Expect your seeds in 2 weeks and you'll likely be surprised when they arrive sometime before that.
 
Royal mail only track after delivery. Silly i know. But thats their way of removing responsibility
and as its still Sunday here it would not have gone live the old way until tomorow

So my package says its at a post office in the UK, it could actually be further along?

but they normally dont update it until its delivered. not even info about what post office but hey i will look myself

My tracking says this.
Item XX was posted at 109 Cliff Lane IP3 0PQ on 08/01/12 and is being progressed through our network for delivery.​
 
USPS says Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office.
 
royal mail will track untill it hits the states port then 2/3 days after it arrives usps will have info on it but it will take a wile for the royal maik to give you information

it takes 2-3 weeks, after about 10-14 days, check tracking if u must. but i know personally ive had tracking say a package was on the east coast when it was in fact across the country in my lap. so don't trust the tracking. tracking is only really useful if u want to know if a package was actually shipped, and not so much to see where it is ;)
