touching your plants?

does touch stimulate the plants in any way?

im personally very paranoid about touching them. dont wanna get any acidity or nicotine on them

I think not. In all my grows i never touch my ladies unless doing some work on em. The essential oils in our skin damage trichomes that never grow back. Never go touch crazy on your buds.

I think its good to touch them up until you start to flower them. I bend them all over the place, to make up for the lack of wind, they get nice fat stalks and stems, even the petioles are over 1/4" around! Yea, I'd probably wash my hands prior to doing so, but I have never personally seen an adverse effect, like I said they just seem to fatten up!

yeah forsure during the veg state it's okay, i was talking bout when there's fat buds sittin there! bending, training, lst, all that is great!!

If you touch your buds every day, then yeah it will be slightly less potent, but i don't know who would touch them every day....

Sure you could touch em in bud, just be prepared for the whole house wreaking and your hand sticking to everything! But seriously no, I heard you can get bud mold if you touch em when they are nice and fat!

Its not going to hurt anything to touch your plants a few times. Just don't sit there and hold your buds and squeeze them everyday.

Don't they put on gloves and rub them in afganistan to get the resin to make hash? I don't think it hurts them as long as its not right before harvest.

Yeah but in afghanistan I think all they grow the bud for is hash, so the end quality of the bud isnt in their main concern. I heard they walk the fields with leather jackets, large bowls and wooden scrapers, and as the resin sticks to the coat, they scrape it off into the bowls and end up with big lumps of mother natures finest. I want that Fucking job!!
