Total Newb here, Checking out a system

Been looking at this one. I am not looking to grow heaps, so I just want a system that is user friendly and first time grower friendly. I plan on buying some feminized seeds and seeing what I can do.
I know there is a lot to it, pH, root rot, gelling, right nutrients and dark time. I just don't have all the answers to those, thought I would turn to some people with more knowledge than myself.

Nothing wrong with that set up. I'd still say do a soil grow first time though, but if you're set on hydro look in to DWC before you spend $S...
 
I think I'll just fill those pots with soil and grow some seeds someone offered locally. I still have a lot to learn about trimming, sexing, cloning, etc. Thanks for the reply, any sort of soil that is best that I can get at like a home depot?
Thanks for that book suggestion, I'll order that tonight when I get off
 
Good plan. Couldn't say about home depot ( few thousand miles to my nearest ;)) but have a look around RIU for soil advice.
Sow those seeds!!
