Are black diesel and og kush strains that can be topped

Any strain can be topped, some just respond better than others. I've never had a plant that didn't respond well to topping/training but I grow mostly sativa hybrids. I've grown the og many times and I can tell you it responds very well to topping.

Well my 3 previous and current grow have been great as far as yield, but it is blueberry x og kush so it has a lot of sativa traits. The og genetics definately help produce the fat nugs though.

I had great succes in topping aVoilator kush .. well acctualy I FIM it .. same deal .. but I got 4 new tops .. before they grew up I had two from just under growing up .. so I had 6 tops .. and while they grew slow a week or so my side shots grew up .. so I did end up with 12 tops

I like the wide canorpy you can make .. specialy with a littel LSTing keep it even more or less ..
Im sure I will yild more then if I had a x-mass tree wher only 20% got good light .. now 50% get nice light ..

If you are growing from seed I like to top them at around 1.5 weeks then again at 3 weeks. If they respond well they will grow up to be strong plants that don't get extremely tall and the branches will have good airflow between them.

Edit: great pics Slipon, those are the perfect example of how to top/FIM correctly.

yea I will also try it twise this time .. only did it one on this run to see and also since I only did start with 2 plants under a 600W

I would have done it around nod 3-4 .. but damn my T5HO fixture make tight nods

so I ended up waiting .. and waiting a bit more .. so I belive it was at nod 6-7 or so .. but then it atlest had nice grow to fall back on ..

Indica dominant plants like og kush will grow smaller branches that hug the stalk so the earlier you top the better, you want to give the lower branches as much light as possible. Sativas like to branch out on their own and stretch to take up as much space as possible.
