topping?

what is topping? is it just cutting off the top of the plant? this promotes side growth? should I prune and top at the same time. my plants are about 4 weeks in to veg. and about 10 inches high. also, what is sexing? and how do I do it? thanks alot, thanks to this site, I think this might actually work out nice.

what is topping? topping is the cutting of the tips of a plant to promote it to grow in a less natural way;) is it just cutting off the top of the plant? this promotes side growth? side growth can be promoted by tying/bind the plant, also known as LST;) should I prune and top at the same time you should give your baby at least a day to breath between cut-backs, lowers the stress and the chance to fuck it up too;). my plants are about 4 weeks in to veg. and about 10 inches high i would say its time to act ;). also, what is sexing you can sex either by taking a clone, use leaves from topping, and put it on 12/12 or wait at least 4 more weeks to grow a matured plant there;)? and how do I do it?>> the sex shows after some days under 12/12 lightning of the plant. thanks alot, thanks to this site, I think this might actually work out nice.
