Is it cool if you just chop the cola first and leave the rest grow my cola looks 80%cloudy 20%amber but near the middle/bottom some new buds are forming and chopping down the cola would let me bring done the light 150watt hps just have the 1 girl but would this decrease potency of the rest of plant or effect the yield. also i was just gonna hang it up till it was crispy then put in paper bags for a week or two not really into the LONG drying/curing process i read about this one and was wondering if it would still taste good and have good potency.:weed:
 
Probably be fine - loads of people on here harvest half of it then leave the rest for a while longer...my mate's thinking of doing the same thing
 
i just did i cut the top cola off and some farther down the stem it's about 10 inches long. i grew once before differnt seeds and got to this point before harvested and didn't even get high off the stuff so i hopre i have better luck this time. probly didn't let it dry properly. not gonna make the same mistake
 
I always do that, harvet the 1st tier heads, even the canopy and drop the light. Leave a couple of days and do the same on the 2nd tier etc etc
 
I'm on my third harvest of the same Thai plants. Everything was maturing at different rates...amber trichs at the top and white hairs at the bottom. We cut the tops just above bud sites and the remaining buds have grown. Besides, it's always OK to sample.
