as long as you make sure it splits above the node, and not below it, your fine.

when i say split, i mean cut. You want to cut where the new growth is about to be, so that basically what would have been side shoots become the tops.

Ok, thats cool then cause i topped one of them for like a kinda trial and error process but i did it right

I did one of the plants with two colas and the other one I topped to have 4 main colas. So far everything is looking good with them. I would post some pics but I cant find my charger for it right now....total stoner move. LOL!!! Anyways, I hope that helps.

yea im sure it will, thanks. But topping into four main colas doesn't always produce more bud you could get four little colas instead of one big one and depending on the strain you could be taking away the potency.

I can't say if it will affect potency or not because I normally let them grow el'natural and this is my 1st time trying out his method. Uncle Ben claims it wont and he gives a pretty good explanation as to why it wont. Only time will tell I guess. Good luck on your adventure and I hope your plants grow great. Keep us posted
