Which of the three techniques are most effective in producing more bud sites??

They all work. Topping and LST give more predictable results, and are really similar techniques in principal. Both get the top out of the way so lower nodes can take over. one cuts, one bends.

I would also say that LSTing is better suited to small places from what I have seen. Of course you can top and LST, I forgot which thread I saw that in.

I like LST in small area's. I always notice an increase in buds.

FIM, then LST. Dont forget to FIM the FIM!

I personally dont top.
