implanning on growing sum blueberry, i want to top it, but is there a better way 2 make it bushier too
idk if i wanna strap her down tho, seems too stressfull and can reduce yield, specially widda noob

Strapping down or whats called lst will increase your yield not lessen it. I just grew some BB and its the hardest strain I have ever come across to grow. Very finiky plant low yield and cloning is hard as hell with it and take forever to root. Not a plant I reccomend for a first timer or first handful of grows. You can also super crop the plant or use the fiem technique to increase yields and bud sites

Top it multiple times.

This strain, from experienced growers, likes many colas for optimum yield.

whats an optimum yield for bluberry

Some seed banks will state anywhere from 300-500g per sq. m of SoG.

It really comes down to 100% water-soluble nutes and the right lights. The lower the RH the more resin.. so you could have a high yield that is pretty potent or really potent.

This strain is the best for Blueberry Muffins!!!!

im getting 400 watt hps and sum maxicrop liquid, i have a dehumidifier to, but will that take away 2 much humidity

Read up on aeroponics, General Hydroponics nutes, and a 600w cooltube.

HTGsupply.com

Digital Electronic 600 watt HPS Grow Light
CoolTube Reflector + $47.00
GrowBright 600 watt HPS Bulb
GrowBright 600 watt HPS Bulb + $39.95
Dual Outlet Mechanical Timer - Heavy Duty + $12.95
Sunrise Hi-Low Reflector Hangers
110 volt power cord
Standard Warranty

$229.85 + shipping

A 400w will give 45-50,000 lumens.. a 600w 85-95,000 lumens.. do the math (lumens per watt).

With the dehumidifier.. try to source a controller for cheap to turn it on and off.. or DIY!

i really gotta stick with soil, and im tight on dough, 600 watt wood be a lot better but i kinda gotta stick with what i got

Oh, I didn't know you already had the 400w.

Soil is good brah. General Hydroponics nutes will work for soil and hydro.. 100% water-soluble which means they can be taken in be the plants more efficiently. Shit, if you are tight on cash hit up lowe's for some Miracle Grow.

I think you are in the right track... keep reading and asking questions.

yea i was thinkin gettin miracle grow moisture control soil cuz i dont wanna use a lot of money in soil and nutes, i spent the not so much money i had on lights and odor control
i didnt have much money at all, but i didnt want to settle with cfl's, light seems more important 2 me then anything else so if im gunna cheap it out, i rather do one thing pretty decent

Dude, the Guru's were talking about using Mircale grow for nutes to prove how little they affect the plants.. all you look for is water-soluble nutes. If you mix them and then let them sit and there is 'stuff' (precipitates) at the bottom then it isn't good stuff.. but it can still be used.

Soil isn't that big of a deal.. I've never flushed since my plants never stayed alive more than 3 months.. right now they have vegged for three months and finally needed one.

My method of feeding:

Prime soil with a cup of water (amount depends on pot size)

Let sit for a hot minute to fully absorb.

Then apply nutes, mine are usually a much stronger mix due to application method.

The add some more water to allow the nutes to fully penetrate soil.

Normally I like to see a little bit to no water out of the bottom.. some like to pH test soil drain. It really depends on the quality of soil.. or what you put into it.. like home-made teas!

so whats a good water-soluable nute?
thats also a decent price

Check out Flora Hydroponics | Commercial & Hobby for General Hydroponics dry mix.. contact them with questions.. they know anything you need to know about anything.

I suggest the dry mix because.. you'll pay next to nothing.. and you'll probably never run out. Not only that, but it contains all the Macro/Micro nutes with essential trace-elements.
