Topping at second node

Ok people, I've seen lots of people ask the question 'Can I top at the second node?' and the answer is yes you can top at the second node and it works perfectly and I'm planning to top at the second node with my pure afghan indoor grow and then F.I.M. them two weeks after that.

Check out the video above created by the well known Grow420Guide for hints and tips for growing and guides on how to top.... and obviously about topping at the second node.

If anyone has any experiences with topping at the second node feel free to share them but I personally would recommend it.

Have you ever done this personally ? Or are you recommending this just because you read it somewhere ?

I've done it with some of my other grows in the past which are not on any site and by the time the new shoots pop out the plant below the cut will strengthen.

Isn't this uncle bens topping technique? It's covered in the advanced section. He usually says wait for the plant to grow to 5 nodes, then top... The only thing different here is the topping when the plant is working on growing the third nodes

Yes, once you already have two nodes and the third is growing then cut of the new growth... I think it's better off fimming it then to make the lower growth stronger but idk its up to you
