Topping and flowering question

My girls are around 68 days old and I just topped them. Should I wait for the new tops to develop before moving them to flower? Or can I just switch them over now. I'm getting anxious for harvest cause my stash is runnin' low. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

those sure are small for 68days old..thats a very long time to veg.....i would wait for them to recover and the branches to grow out some before flowering

Thanks, my temps were real high and from what I understand it stunted their growth.

they look healthy tho,they got any preflowers yet???when you top you should wait about 2weeks before you change to 12/12,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,peace

They're just starting to show preflowers. I should know soon. - I'll just keep on praying to the weed god till then!!

Thanks, closetgrower, I would love to give them more light I am having heat issues though. I've got 7 fans and still struggling to keep them below 80. Any ideas?

there are many different theories about when to top in relation to flowering, and you'll find everyone will tell you something different. I won't bother giving you my opinion on when I top but I will say don't worry too much about it.
