there is a technique that is in my opinion quite better for the plant and gets the same results It is LST aka tyin the bitch down. take your main branch or branches an loosely put yarn around the stem or stems about a quarter of they way down the stem and gently bend the stem down about 2 or 2 and half inches then every day bend it a bit more until it hangs on its own with no strings attached 3 or 4 inches lower than the rest of the plant. Doing this will allow you to get more colas and not shock the plant.
Topping is supposed to give you 2 top colas instead of one. Supposedly a grower was trying to top
a plant and cut in the wrong place. Fuck, I Missed, he said. That became FIM. Instead of 2 tops his
plant grew 4 top colas. I FIM most all my clones to make them bushier and stretch less.
Note, even if performed perfectly and you do get 4 colas going, they will not be as large as an individual
cola.

hey buddy would you mind pm'ing me about toping, lst, and all that? i have a monster veg going right now. and as i just figured out how to maintain a healthy day to day with these plants i want to learn how to improve my growing techniques now that i have the time.

But, 4 cola's should produce more bud-mass than 1 cola, Correct?
