top feed reservoir and drippers

I'm looking to run a top feed drip system, 9 plants in hydroton-filled netpots.

How big should my res be? ~20gal? more? less?

I appreciate everyone's feedback.

Also, should I just run out bare spaghetti line to the plants, or do I really need drippers?

You might want more like 3 gallons per.

I have a RDWC system with 6-5gallon buckets and one 5 gal bucket as the control bucket or res. I use top feed drip lines and i just use the T-coupler as the drip end it just pours nicely out both sides, am i making any sense. Hope this helps
