top dressing with limestone?????

i have a quick question...is it possible to top dress with lime stone in a coco grow to supplement calmag? and if so how often should i have to top dress ?? every 2 weeks 4 weeks? i believe i might have answered my own ? but im not 100% any help is appreciated thanks in advance

If you are growing in coco, I assume you are using bottled nutrients. That being the case, why wouldn't you just pick up another bottle from the hydro store (did that just come out of my mouth?!?!?!?).

I would avoid top dressing limestone over coco. It would be a different story if you were growing in a peat/compost based mix, but even then there are better Ca/Mg options than top dressing with lime. Good worm castings are LOADED with calcium, and contain plenty of magnesium.

Top dressing with compost or worm castings would be a better idea (in my opinion).

i found the answer..... you can .... 1 table spoon per gallon and then top dressed every 4-5 weeks
