I wouldnt cut them early, i would let them go the full harvest time if i were you. its not that they mature faster than the rest of the nugs, its that when you have a gigantic nug at the top of the plant, it takes up most of the light, leaving the rest of the buds beneath it underdeveloped. once harvest comes, you can chop off those big tops, and then let the lower buds stay on the plant for an extra week or two, and theyll fatten up to their full potential. if your growing multiple plants and have a really thick canopy in your growroom, this is an ideal method to use, as your not gonna get nearly as nice of a yield if you were to just chop her down n get what you can out of her.

its worth the wait bro, i know its hard to wait for them last couple weeks, lol, but its worth it to do it right if youve waited this long already, no??

Good luck with your grow man, n lets see some pics up here ;)

Right on the money spade:bigjoint: I did exactly that, just last night!! Harvested the majority of the big stuff, leavin two side branches which still had super green leaves left to fend for itself for as long as it takes. :fire:

For plants that size I would take the tops and then figure 5 days for the plants to recover before they even start to grow again and two weeks minimum additional grow time.

BUT If you have clones waiting to go in that are ready to go then I'd forget it and just chop them whole. The time lost waiting for the little stuff to fatten up a bit isn't worth it compared to flipping a whole new crop.

You could eliminate this problem in future grows by using different grow styles or more light if that's possible.

hey tryingtogrow89 im using the same stuff here in england, got mine about a week ago cause my cupboard was getting cold, good stuff. i say yes try buds at different stages of developement , i think you may b surprised. you do of course gain more weight if you leave the plant to finish.
