Thanks for all the great feedback. I actually tried a little bit the other night, smoked clean and tasted good. Only a couple more weeks till the real deal harvest.

Very good first signs from the smoke, let them go and swell up first, really look big nice buds. Problems considering this looks like a decent harvest. Peace

Cannabis cup strains are generally very good, most of the top strains we see today are previously canabis cup winners. Think my white widow won it 2/3 years running when i got it, after that was Euphoria i think then blueberry and cheese came about later.

Would be good if it tasted like vanilla even when eated in cakes, mmmmmm!lol! Peace

the "ice cream" from paradise is VERY vanilla-eee. it came out so good outside last year that i ran 2 runs inside over the winter and have a yard full of it again this year. i'm running the feminized and they have been really good to me.

I'm wondering how many pheno's their ww has? Plus my mk ultra turned out to be female so now I have added 3 new strains to my gardens. MK ultra, greenhouse ww and LSD.. I hope i made good choices cause I don't buy seeds too often

Yo max i was very lucky with my strain, it is from the dutch growing hose and seed bank 'Dutch Passion'. Hope you have heard off these guys, the best and one of the originals from what i know. There White Widow strain was legendary a few years back and that is what i bought. At the time the highest THC content and most exspensive seeds on the market, multiple cannabis cup award winner and reputed to be the best white widow strain in the world.

As always you cant believe all the hype but it was at the time that white widow was number 1 strain to grow so i bought the best genetics i could buy figuring that even if i stuffed up i would get some potent weed.

Seriously this strain never dissapoints and have kept the genetics going for years now crossing and backcrossing it back and forth to keep the original genetics and strain going as long as possible. I just seeded a plant from its daughters daughter so the genetics are nice and mixed. I have some good understanding of genetics but recently want to make it stronger. Maybe i will call dutch passion and ask if they have the original untouched strain with which to breed the original genetics back in to my genetics.

Over time i have seen 90 percent of my plants show the same height and growth characteristics with nice big fat buds so am confident i am not weakening the genetics through constant crossing within the same strain. All this from ten feminised seeds bought years ago. I rarely buy seeds or obtain them of friends as i like what i have done and the genetics i have kept. I also selectively breed more seedlings than i flower and dispose of any weak ones so my plants keep the strong desirable genetics.

What i have done in such a small space with my strain is amazing to me, constantly buying seeds can increase the cost of the grow significantly and like you i only want the strains that give me what i want and the ones that i like to work with. Been following subcools threads a lot recently as he seems to breed as well as make super soil!lol! so trying to learn a bit more about genetics.

So many people throw seeds away but i keep and breed everyone. 50 seeds will do me for the year and tend to find the odd plant herm a little at the end of flowering. Some people hate to see those bannanas grow on their bud but i wait and hope for them on the odd plant so i can cross pollinate another. As i get better at growing so i see less herm traits. Quite normal for feminised and like one or two per bud so no big deal.

Guess i'm just different from a lot of small growers in the fact that i hate buying grow products unless they are essential and prefer to learn as i go and cross every subjest such as genetics. Breeding my own seeds is not hard and so rewarding, not only did i grow the plant but i selected and cultivated the genetics too. Wish i could step it up and get serious about it but am happy with my small little grow, got a lot going on all the time.

Personally i would grow any fem seeds i got of my plant rather than give my money away, lots of hype and myth but i dismissed it all and did it my way!lol! Lets hope i can keep the strain stable for many years to come, sometimes i clone but i have a good stock off seeds and find cloning a hassle and dose not mix my genetics up enough.

Lots of my plants are showing whorled phyllotaxy or three branches per node, i'm not worried but feel maybe i need to restrengthen the genetics again but hell its been an amazing ride so far and way more intresting.

I have heard of the greenhouse ww and mk ultra, mk ultra is quite legendary in my eyes, hell of a history to it. Everyone grows white widow but i like to feel my genetics are far superior (big head!lol) to theirs. Originally 75% indica and 25% sativa, what i would consider the best mix, 100 percent indica is a little boring to me so like the sativa in there for a better smoke.

I think dutch passion would be proud of me for what i have done, maybe even want their genetics back one day!Lol!

It destroys you, not an instant screw you up but strong and after two joints you are seriously smashed for a long time, must admit it is the most serious high i've had, from the minute you inhale you know it means buissness.

Bad point is its not an easy grow to get right. Dutch Passion advertised it as a medium grow, not an easy one like some strains. The hard grows were all sativas. It is fussy from time to time during the grow but get it right and growth is unbelivable. Seriously cal/mag hungry compared to mates grows. Not keen on topping, lst and pruning but takes it ok, just wants to grow straight up basically.

I just love this strain though, prefer it over all the cheese and other popular strains you can buy round here, high is strong and long lasting too.

I cannot praise white widow enough, ive had a few white strains, white rhino was popular a couple years ago and i just got bored of them and the taste. I keep looking for a strain that i would be just as happy with and try and grow the two different strains for the future but as yet i not found what i wanted. Want big yeild, fruity taste, easy to grow and this time a pure indica that stays short and bushy and real easy to grow. I like the grapefruit and orange strains, always been keen on a fruit smelling and tasting weed.

I know im stoned as hell and waffling but hey im a stoner! Anyway i found a few things over the years with my strain and definatly number one is i notice the taste between chemical ferts and organic ferts. Organic ferts makes my white widow smell super sweet unlike chems that make it smell more musky and dank. I grow totally organic biobizz and seaweed at the moment but getting more ferts and additives mainly fish mix, fulvic acid and want to add one or two more, possibly a sweetner to sweeten up the taste some more in flowering and also cal/mag supplements. She is demanding unfortunatly. Also she dosent swell up till the last moment, like last one or two weeks befor bud swell. I cannot really do an early harvest and expect to get good weed. She needs to go till the end. At the end tric production and swell are superquick and she basically oozes resin, quite white under the light and very crystally when dried, looks beautifull.

I'm only just starting to get her right though so am still not quite there, recomended final height is 1.6 meters, i finish plants at 30 centimeters with bit of lst and topping as i have a small grow hence why she aint keen on being kept small!lol! Seriously enjoyed this strain and always got seeds to grow. The plant i have seeded now probably gona give me 50/60 good seeds so next years stock is finished early. My friends doing a grow soon so may give him a few to run along side his seeds.

Personally i am not a fan of cheese, or similar strains, everyone loves them but just not what im looking for in my smoke. Peace and sorry for talking loads.

well shiiieeet I hope greenhouses is some decent shit.. From the pheno i see she grows into one big ass cola with a few side branches sticking rather close to her, lots of resin. I would say she doubled in height by time flowering has really started. Buds are hard as a rock and she is looking very tasty. She is getting so heavy that she was leanin a little to close to one of my 1000 watters and the very top got a tad bit burnt ( o well that's totally my fault). I think the one that i'm most stoked about is the mk ultra. My very first REAL strain i ever grew was dutch passions skunk #1, I drove over to canada and bought fem'd seeds and smuggled them back over the border. Very nice strain but it had a tendency to hermi, but this was when they first started making fem'd seeds so i'm sure they have figured it out a little better.
