i new to this and germinated my new seeds with no problem and the potted them with jiffy potting mix and i friend suggested i use a 75-watt halogen light and i believe that i may have burned the seedling any suggestion on if they can be saved or are they trash????PLZ HELP

Pics help....but halogen is the wrong kind of light. Use compact flourescent cool whites for veg.If it's still green, it may make a comeback. No nutes yet.Good luck.

it was hard to tell if it was green or not but a good idea is i had the newly germinated seeds under that lamp for about 36hrs and the soil was dry so i turned off the light and re watered them

Just get a 40 watt daylight cfl for now. Put it about 4 inches away, then as they grow, move it a bit closer if they seem to be stretching.Use a fan on them to circulate air and keep them strong.
