Too Much Heat

Ive just started growing with a 600w HPS my grow room is only 80 x 80 x 160 inside a small closet and im struggling to get the heat down from 100 should i get a lower watt bulb and ballast?

I dont really have anywhere to vent it as the closets in my hallway, iv had the door open an hour and its come down to 90 but the 4 girls look fine, the soil is a little dry but iv just sorted that now.

as i oly plan on growing a few at a time im wondering if it would be easier to down the wattage?

My first grow was in a closet and when I put my HPS in the closet I had to find a way to control temps. I went to lowes and bought a bathroom exhaust fan but it was not powerful enough so I returned it and went to my local hydro shop and bought a 200 cfm inline fan. I bought some ducting and then I connected it to the hps hood. The hood didn't have a vent hole so I duct taped it on the hood and it held the entire grow. As for the hot air I took down my light fixture at the top of the closet and fed my exhaust duct through the hole up into the attic. It kept my temps down to the 80's and my strain at the time didn't mind the access heat. I actually think it gave it more resin production. The strain was kush and it was quite nice. cant you split cupboard, and door so you can vent to top and leave top open or build a stand free cupboard or use a wardrobe, you will need inline fan and carbon filter too cause its going to smell

They may look fine till you flower them if your house isn't on a concrete slab I'd be getting fresh air from under your house and a/c from the room on the other side of the closet or something and I'd have that 600 in a cooltube goin into the attic waste of
time flowering indoor pot in 100+ temps

Like others have said, your best bet is to vent it. Do yourself a favor and get a good exhaust fan..

cant you keep in you bedroom, exhaust n inline are same arent they, will need carbon filter or you will stink place out
