so i just started flowering, and used some bloom juice, and she turned all spotty and crunchy in spots. i didnt use anything until now and she was doing awsome. so what do i do now? will she get better? its only been 3 days of flowering, should i go back to 24 for a few days? ????

Keep the lights how they are, changing that wont do a thing. It seems you have got nute burn, always easier to tell if you supply pics. You shouldn't have a build up yet if you've only just started using nutes so you shouldn't need to flush. When you next need to water I would just give it good old plain water and then the time after that you should be ok to start adding nutes again.

Whenever you start adding different nutrients or are giving nutrients for the first time always start with a diluted mix. I would start at 1/4 the recommended dose and work your way up slowly, keeping a good visual over your plants for signs of nute burn. If you start to see burn again you know you have reached your plants tolerance so cut back on the nutes and keep it at that level.

Periodically it is good to flush to prevent salt build ups which will also give you burns. I would flush around every 4 weeks.

no need for flushing(anytime during the whole grow) if you are giving the correct dosage of nutes and using proper nutes for vegging and then flowering.

and how often do people get the balance right every time. Flushing doesn't harm it, but can do a lot of good. True if you get it perfect all the time you shouldn't get buildups and thus wont need to flush, but for those who are not perfect periodic flushing could be very beneficial.

i must be perfect then because of over a couple of dozen grows i have never needed to flush during the growing phase and i have never had any plant health problems only the finest sticky.

ok ok thanx for both of your inputs. no need to fight. sounds like yall need to smoke more. but really, thanx, wish me luck.

Just to let you know, flushing is a NEED not an option as some persons believe. You want the best possible, then you have to flush, maybe only once during the grow then the final week or two, but you are right and luda, who lives on the second floor is wrong.

Cheers man!
