too much clone light?

clones got cut today and i have them under 2 23w cfls and a 3 foot fixture. instead of heat pads im using 2700k cfls on the bottom. too much light not including the 2700?

0 to none is pretty good to root after rooted the cfls will be good until they need more.

Make sure no light hits the roots at all.

No light to root clones LMAO. Myth.
And as for 0-none and use CFL after rooted.. good luck with that theyll be dead. ( 0 AND none are the same )
Chris h.....
It's fine. Just becareful the light you are using to heat the medium ISN'T getting it TOO hot.
I'd try lowering temp few points (small fan pointing at dome). It may not cause you issues if your humidity is high.... My clones always sit in 80 -81 and an odd increase to 83 too..... 16 yrs can't be wrong.

High is GOOOOOOOOOOOD for cloning :D it CANT be too high for clones.
And you need 18-24 hrs of light NOT zero ;)
It's the MEDIUMs temp chris I'm on about not the heat OF THE BULB

you dont need all that light, it makes the plants focus on photosynthesis too much, thats why some dispensaries cut off the tips of the leaves on the clones.

And again..........
most his light is BELOW as a heat source the bulbs on top are FINE
The tips of leaves are cut off NOT to lower photosysthesis (this maybe a little) it is mainly to stop the clone transpiring too much and drying out.
Mediums temp......... stick a thermometer in the medium ;)

apologies to the guy before......
the 3 foot fixture is it CFL too ? or T5...... lose the 3 foot fixture.
didn't state the side light output originally.

0 light works for me and cfls are really good for rooted clones ones rooted, even the old t12 will grow babies, and it possible to do things wrong for 16 years. trust me.

different stroke for well what ever.

0 light and you dont want the clone to become dependant on the humidity for moisture you have to make condition that makes the clones want to make roots, i take the doom off for 6 hours a day.

believe it or not you can keep cuttings alive for like 3-5 weeks without rooting, and this is done with humidity and 42degrees, darkness.

Without a chance...... aint wrong I've written papers on the matter.
Yes you can keep em alive in the dark....... WHY? what a waste of time. Your looking for efficiency. (I aint saying your wrong)
You CAN keep humidity @100% as long as medium isn't too wet, it'll root..... with no dependency and the fastest.

wth y keep them alive if they dont root....... i feel like ur either1) trying to mess with me so i kill my plants or 2) use me as an experiment to test ur theories u found off google...... i guess u run ur plant in temps above 100 with no co2 or fan as well

I ain't posting direct links to my papers as that would give the game away..... Hillcrest is shall we say protecting his employment LOL
Use Google Scholar I know that brings up aleast 2 papers on the matter..... and quite a few others.... more indepth than mine.
You maybe supprised at how many universities and research centers post papers on Cannabis ..cloning.... breeding....etc etc
You'll find the key word is SATIVA and not cannabis when searching..... don't ask me why most research is conducted on Sativa over Indica I have no idea... my only thought is that Sativa is used more widely through agricuture and in production of other products.

im not messin with u i clone with no light until they root and keep cutting in frigde until i need them in the cloner this is how i do it.

sorry for any confusion hope this clears it up

Chris.....
Withoutachance is not messing with you or trying to wind u up...... HE IS CORRECT in what he says..... just not that efficient.
As he says different stroke for different folks.... I just have a science back ground so approach things in a different manner. :)
NO OFFENSE WithoutAchance ;)
