Too much air?

In a DWC bucket can there be such thing as too many bubbles?? I am shopping for supplies right now but i was just wondering can i have too strong of a air pump???

I can't see there being a rule of thumb about supplying too much oxygen to the roots through an air pump. The only thing about too much air getting pumped to a rez, is the noise, thats the only problem people would find.
