Too many lumens?

Okay so i am quite sure i know the right amount of lumens required for each stage of growth but i was wondering if there was a point where it would hurt the plant. In the vegetative and germination phases is there a maximum amount of lumens before it is counterproductive?

Im new to indoors growing myself but i think that between 5000lumens or 6000 lumens per sqf is a good average.

The best would be 7000-1000 lumes per sqf. It wont hurt the plant ONLY if it is to close.

On a warm sumer day the sun gives off about 10000 lumes per sqf.
