Too earlly?

my seeds just broke the shell in paper towels. the tails are very short, one of them just opened the shell. is it to earlly to transplant into soil?
 
I usually plant em as soon as the tail is stickin out. Some people prefer to wait till the tail is longer, but than you risk injuring it when planting.
 
you should be alright but once you got a shrot root showin it will only take like 2hrs or so til there about 1 or 2cm
