HI all

a question on tormorite . some one told me to start using tomorite its good stuff ? but i don't know ? what do you think ????? is there anyone out there who uses it ?

,i bought some today ,i was thinking of trying on just 1 plant out of 10 plants i have just to see what will happen ,& compare the finish results ,i have always used canna boost with other cannas A.-B .rhiz .canz pk13/14 .

if it is good to use on marijuana plants ,when would you start to use it ? when the plant starts to show flower .

thanks

You want better results???

With canna you should be able to achieve 1g/w of light.

Are you in coco/hydro/soil?

my yields have been pritty shit really ,just want somert that will give more weight if i can ,im not saying that tormorite will do this ,just thinking it may cut cost down from buying the pritty expensive boost .just wondering if there is any difference in the 2 formulas

I can't see why you aren't getting good yields using canna and coco/soil mix. What light are you using what's light on/off temps. How often do you feed them? What week are you feeding pk 13/14 in when in flower?

hi ,just 1 600w hps sun master dual spectrum bulb with parabolic shade ,grow room size is 8x6 ,10 plants 10ltr pots coco soil ,temps in day 65-75 f hty 50%-60% at night when lights out have a small fan heater to keep temps ok ,i start adding the pk about week 5 or 6 flower for 1 week .

water every other day

Are you testing your nutrient strength?
Are you testing your pH?

These 2 things IMO are CRUCIAL in coco.

Coco is an inert hydro medium. Meaning it carries no nutrients until nutrients are fed to it.

Are you feeding every watering?

Coco needs to be fed each and every time which is why testing is important.

IMO you would probably do better with 4-6 3ft tall plants each should then have around 3-5oz.

If you still want to use tamorite I would strongly suggest you get yourself a cal/mag supplement.

However once you buy tamorite and the cal/mag you probably could have bought the canna coco a/B.

Are you using the canna grow schedule?

If not go to CANNA UK website and work through their nutrient calculator.

It will tell you how much of everything to add based on how many litres of water you mix up at any one time.

Choose the LIGHT FEEDING schedule and get growing some decent yield.

hi mate

yes have the canna coco chart ,i know what amount needs to be added to every water ,i am not testing my nutrient strength?
or testing pH .to be honest i never have ,they have always looked like good healthy grows what i have done .do you think i should be testing ,would buying these gadgets improve my weight in bud ?

i can only dream about 3-5 oz per plant from the cheese i grow .im lucky if i get 2 oz per plant .i think im doing everything as i should ,apart from the testing tho ,don't think cheese is a good yeilder ,but i do think i should be getting better than 2 0z per plant ,next im going to up the pot size from 10ltr to 15 ltr see what i get from them .? what about something that can add extra weight ,is there any good stuff out there that can just give that extra kick at the end .make em bloom heavier buds ?

tomato nutes work fine with added pk bloom boost also with molasses or canna boost accelerator or both even better

PH in coco is pretty crucial.

If you add the A and B and the ZYM and Rhizotonic into your mix at canna recommended dosages the pH is usually ok without adjustment.

When you add the PK1314 this increases your pH on canna recommended dosages to around 6.8.

Coco should be around 5.5-6ph.

This could be where your issue lies.

I currently grow a variety of cheese that turns purple towards harvesting and I use 4plants under 400w and I'm expecting at least 3oz per plant. I'm trying to beat 4.4oz per plant. My plants very rarely exceed 2ft tall.

Something is definitely a miss with your current regime and IMO I think its pH.

Get yourself a pH tester and begin there.

PH everything to 5.8 and see how your next run does.
