Toking on Medical Marijuana While On Probation

Right now i'm on felony probation. i live in northern cali and i'm wondering if i would be allowed to smoke if i got mm. It might be hard bcuz i already got three strikes against me 1) i'm on probation for selling weed. 2) my probation is out of florida not ca, i got transferred out here. 3) I just failed a piss test for weed. If i was allowed to toke it would make my life so much easier. i'm afraid of violating bcuz i already know there's no way i can quit for the next 1-2 yrs. If anybody has any insight on this i would appreciate it.

I don't think they can deny u mm based on ur criminal record. I don't think they can even check ur criminal record. I may be wrong tho...? But i'm wondering if i do get it if probation will say anything. I could just ask my p.o. but i'm afraid to bcuz i just failed a piss test two weeks ago and i don't want to risk pissing her off nemore.

it is up to your PO. i've know numerous people who got their cards because they were on probation and didn't want to violate. but i think in the end it comes down to the PO.

ok, thanks fdd, i was hoping u would respond u seem very knowledgable about mm. I guess that means i got to talk to the bitch about it then.

i would start with a more cheerful attitude towards her. jk. i'm sure alot depends on your county also. i would definately look further into it. but i did go thru some "legal stuff" a few years ago. i met all kinds. met a guy in rehab who had a script for marijuana. IN REHAB go figure. outpatient, but still it was rehab and he could smoke pot. the bastard!!!!

i would get the card first and then tell your po that your a med patient

yeah maybe i'll just tell her that i discussed it with my doctor and he thinks i would be a good candidate for it and if it is ok with her if i go ahead with it.

damn i'm scared to ask tho bcuz i know if she says no she's probably going to start testing more... I think i'll wait for my crop to finish b4 i ask in case she wants to stop by the house bcuz of my questions.

lol i would i wouldnt want her to think anything. i would just start complaining about some kind of pain and then tell her in about a week of griping

lol... i know right, everybody told me i wouldn't make it a year... well it's been 14 months already... i don't know how i haven't violated yet lol. honestly i think God's been watching over me.

you have to go back to court and get the conditions of your probation changed, was no problem for me even after 33 dirty tests, I had to go and get the actual county card for the probation dept. but my lawyer says all you legally need is your dr. recomendation to be current in your medical records, Manny daskel is my lawyer, dr. grover at humboldt medical is my dr. 215 card makes probation nice
