Toilet paper or paper towel?

hey im a first time grower and i am just starting out with a few seeds in some plastic cups.

i know that seeds are supposed to be wrapped up in a paper towel for a while to germinate, but i ended up using some regular old toilet tissue on the few that i have going.

my question is; will the toilet paper have any adverse effects, or prevent growth in any way? will i be able to safely move the seeds(been in cups for 2 days now) without harming the plant if it is harmful?

If your asking if the toilet paper has any chemicals in it that will affect the seed, no. But next time use paper towels. Toilet paper is hard to peel and work with when it is wet. Make sure you dont harm the shooter root coming out of the seed when trying to get the sticky toliet paper off.
