Today i found my HPS system is actually a MH system

I'm flowering.

Is that a huge problem? could i put a HPS bulb in the MH ballast? i read somewhere you cant

also on the ballast box it says max 250 watt but on the ballast itself it says pulse 2000 watt... could i get a stronger 400 watt bulb and toss it into the ballast?

all I know is my ballast is for hps, and you buy a converted MH bulb for veg'n

thats cause it uses a pulse starter to ignite the gases in the MH bulbs!! You can get a conversion bulb but you cannot just throw in a HPS bulb or a higher wattage bulb that would be bad!!!!!
