To ufo or to not ufo?!

i have a ufo with blue and red led's with 3 built in fans i dont know wattage at this time. but sure its just the basic one. how good do these work and for how many plants and how far away should i hang it from seedlings,plants and when budding thank you

Just guessing.

24" = Seedling
18" = Bloom

One plant, maybe two, depending on veg time and training.

ok cool have you used them? do they work jsut as good ad hps or flouresnts

I'm not using UFO's, no. My estimations are based off reading grows and guessing the true wattage of your UFO.

Assuming you had the same number of LED Watts as HPS or CFL you should get very comparable results.

I'm guessing others will chime in shortly to add their perspective, but you'll learn as you go. No worries.

I am also interested in some more replies. I have recently started my first grow ever, 5 autoflowering seeds from attitude. I have 2 180w ufos and a bunch of cfls. Is this enough light for my 5 autos? Heres some pics of my seedlings I am planning on transplanting to final pot in a week or 2. I have access to 2 'water farm' hydro kits so I might do 2 hydro and 3 soil.

^^^ Imo, yes, two UFO's and however many cfl's as side lighting should cover 5 auto's anywhere from alright to pretty damn well depending on the number of cfl's. Looks good so far, best of luck, man.
