To chop or not to chop???

dude I cant tell about the trics. Everybody says check trics, but I rarely do. I even have the 30x and 60-100x microscope, but I just cant justify the looks. I just can't tell the difference when I look, ever. Its easy for me on immature buds, but when they get close to ripe I cannot distinguish between clear,and cloudy, they almost always look the same to me? And if I wait for most to turn amber, it almost always seems too late, you know with the dead leaves and red pistils and everything.

Idk man. The leaves are yellowing, so you better hurry. Unless it is a nitrogen deficiency.

damn close to done, i would go darkness for 24 and chop chop
+for chop. chop in 3 day. Question. If I have been watering these with a mild solution of water and molasses for two weeks, is a full two week plain water flush neccessary? I have some Clearex but I don't really think I need to use it or flush for more than a few days. What do you think?

............yep, chop chop! I find the same thing most of the time: waiting to really see amber like what 'sounds' best----the fricken buds are 'bout dead looking. So I pretty much just wait to get into most being 'cloudy' and they always turn out the way I like.
And for flushing, imo, if you've just been using water and light molasses, I wouldn't worry much about the flush-----yeah, straight h2o from here out, but I 'd chop after next 12 off..........

Want to know EXACTLY when to chop them babes? Check the trichs. Really. Go to [[r adio Shack]], buy the 60-100x microscope for $10. Spend time with it, learn how to focus PROPERLY. You will see either CLEAR trichs (the ball on the stem), CLOUDY trichs, or AMBER trichs (trust me). If you want a more cerebral high, go cloudy, for a more stony, couchlock, high, go amber. There's plenty of pics online to show you the color of each.
Why look at the trichs? Because the trichomes are the glands that secrete resin which catches male pollen. That resin contains the main source of THC that you absorb when using marijuana. Fuck what the leaves look like, it's about the potency of the plant.
Trust me dude. That's how it goes and it's up to you. Oh... use at least 60x man.
PS - if it always looks the same to you (and you're really looking) then they PROBABLY ARE ALL THE SAME so wait a bit, patience is a virtue. Just wait until they ARE the color you WANT them to BE.
