To burp or not to burp during curing

Ehy guys! I would like to ask, since around I hear people saying that you have to burp a few minutes everyday even in the cure zone and some other suggest to keep the jar's lid closed. What do you guys suggest me to do If I have a consistent 62-55 % RH in the jars?
Thinking about it, it doesn't make much of a sense burping it if the RH doesn't spike up. Don't I risk to lower the RH inside and maybe risk to get too low on the humidity?
The only thing that comes in mind is to open the jara maybe to move the buds a little?

Try burping some and leave the others, give them a month or two, test the results. I'm thinking you'll notice the difference

I'm asking because is my first time time curing. In the past I just dried them and smoked.
I chose to follow somebody's more experienced route rather then testing since I just have a couple of 100g...
I burped them just j few minutes now and the RH spiked up by a few % (it was at around 53% before the burp, now we are at 55/56% ).
My only fear for burping is that if it is not necessary I'm just releasing moisture from the jar and kinda hurt the curing process. My fear of not to burp is to have mold. So I'm in a situation where I need need some proven infos...

Got you guys! Thanks! Jars are sitting around 53/55/56 RH...I wish the mini hygrometers miss a few +% points so I'm in the cure zone... I will still leave them closed for a couple of weeks till I smoke the first sample, then I will wait two weeks more to see if they are curing properly. We'll see... Shame on my to let them leave two days more air drying.

Personally if my buds are in the 62-65%, I keep mine closed for 2-3 months at a time, I can assure by the end of those months, the true smell comes through as the product has cured( providing buds were ripe at harvest). Air is the enemy, once you hit 64-65% you do not have to burp frequently, its up to you If you do but best to leave them alone and let it do its thing. I start burping the jars when Im ready to start smoking the product so I ill bring the % down by burping after a coupe of months of curing. Hanging the plant whole to dry is a must for flavor which in return will age well in the jars.

Burping is not to release moisture, its to provide fresh air. It takes 3 seconds to burp. Any longer and you are a misled idiot who went from open air hanging racks to end-user storage jars overnight..

The internet has made everyone retarded. Throw your meters and guages and booklets in the trash. If you need a meter to tell you how wet a bud is, give up.

Why do you suppose fresh air is important, perhaps to take moisture outta the jar and prevent molding, tell me, what other reason you would want fresh air in the jar?
