Thanks to my interest a few years back in yeast propagation for home brewing, and other fungal propagation adventures 
I find myself with virtually all the supplies and equipment needed for experimenting with tissue culture cloning. I have some malt extract agar, and am wondering if I can just add some Rootone or other rooting hormone to it, or do I need to purchase a special tissue culture agar? And if I can add it, about how much should I add? Is there such a thing as too much? Also, do I need to add sugar to the agar, or are the sugars already present enough (it is a few years old)? Thanks.
