Tips Pointing Up And Leaves Turning White

I recently picked up 5 new clones. They're all about a foot tall. I left them inside for about 2 days to let them recover from transplant shock then yesterday i put them outside. They did fine, but then today after i got home just about all of the plants had this problem. the leaves towards the top were turning white and the tips were pointing up.

I have only been watering with distilled water. pH is at 7 for the soil and water.

Growing outdoors, and just recently put plants into 3 gallon pots.

Using Foxfarm ocean forest soil.

i think the plants just might be in shock from being moved to outside. Or it might be from me using hose water this morning instead of distilled water because i ran out, haha. But i'm not sure, so i'll leave it to you guys. heres some pics, thank you!

It's possible the roots aren't sufficiently developed to supply enough moisture to the leaves.
You need to harden them slowly, like give it some morning and, or afternoon sun over a week or so, and in the shade for the other times.
They were probably under flouros and now direct sun is too much.:peace:

do you think it's to late now? they've been in the direct sun for two days now, probably around 10 hours each day.
and thank you for your reply.

+1 spiked... definitely looks like shock from being introduced outdoors without being hardened off. I've had plants do this even when moving from HPS to outdoors.

I went from 4' 8 bulb T5s to 600hps and they got light bleached at 18" away so I moved the lights up to 22" and the next day, much better.

do you think it's to late to harden off or should i still give it a shot?
I don't think it's ever too late until their dead.
Give them early and or late sun, but shade between 11am and 3 pm, and gradually increase.
I have some clones now that I thought were completely gone, but surprisingly they have recovered.
It's a very hardy plant with a will to survive, and it's amazing how quickly they can recover from stress.
Any chance of some pics?:joint:
