tips for cleaning bongs

Hey , I got a new bong, and have been trying to keep it as clean as possible. Having trouble keeping the percs as clean as I would like, and was wondering if anyone had any tips for it. I have an ashcatcher now, and that really helps. I normally use 91% alcohol and epsom salt, and was wondering if there is something better that anyone recommends.

You got it right 91% iso and kosher salt. It's pretty grainy so it works awesome. Just remember, shake the shit out of it.

Yeah it becomes a full blown job when my percs get real dirty But its worth it after

Thanks guys. I was hoping someone had a better trick for the percs than just shaking the mixture. I have been running the mixture through it, this thing is just super dirty i guess.

For the perc set, buy a rubber stopper (for a test tube or something) and plug the down stem hole. Dump a little salt and pour some alcy and shake the fuckin' hell out of it with your hand on the top making sure it doesn't spill out. The stopper will keep the alcohol from going down into the main water chamber.

I keep my percolated bong crystal clear every day. Twice a day water rinse, once a day 420 cleaner/ epsom 91%.

This bong is 2 years old, once broken and repaired. Still looks showroom new due to daily cleaning and using ashcatchers. I'm a fucking bong snob


Also for salt buildup I use my Bong Buddy to scrub the particles loose from my perc set.
