a mate was telling me that if you put some nails in a bucket of water and let them rust, than burry them in the soil by your plant i turns your bud purpil an d potent as. not sure weather to believe him. would this work?
 
yea thought it might be never herd it else where only myth that i can think of that comes close is birth control pills for pete saakz. i know my plants dont bleed every mounth
 
Birth control pills NO, because they are essentialy human identical estrogen.(even though they come from like horses or something)

However, I have heard of people taking phytoestrogen pills and extracting it pure and feeding it to plants.

phytoestrogen is a plants form of estrogen.
 
nails are a way to put iron into the soil... they will add to the color a bit... but with any nute/mineral, it isnt such a great idea to just randomly stick shit in your medium.
 
so where do we get these phytoestrogen pills from? woth a shot i rekon. theres nothing lake a bit of trial and error, after all its all one big learning curve for this nubie whats there to loose
 
Marijuana is a perfectly balanced plant that the nutes we use are designed specifically for almost. Upsetting this with increeased iron could harm the plant in the long run.

This myth comes from random desert plants that seem to grow whereever a nail has fallen, these plants are able to use this extra iron oxide to help them in soil that is deficient otherwise.

Dont do it, you can get the same thing of hormones from rooting solution or try superthrive which is much better IMO than trying to make your own hormones.

You want to try something that will give you results get some "Take Root" brand cloning powder & feed a heavy dose to an established plant in full bud,watch that sucker blow up allmost overnight.

The ingredient is Indole-3 butyrc acid & the stuff works insane.
 
that myth is crap, if your plants needs iron just go buy a cheap supplement like superthrive for 7 bucks at wally world and it will last you forever and a day:mrgreen:
