hey guys - first grow - so im on approx week 4-5 of flower. ive kept the tent at 75deg the entire flower time and 78deg during veg,. Lights were a spider 2000 and a spider 1000 at like 26 inches. Flower i added a 60 watt growstar for some extra light but a week ago i moved the girls into a 4x4 gorilla tent and i added a 100 watt vivosum light at about the 3-4th week of flower. 18hr light. A GG autoflower (which is flowering) and my Blueberry auto which is about to hit flower. Ive been slowly defoliating and remove small buds since there was legit like 50 bud sites on this girl. Theres still way too many lol so im prob gona start harvesting all the small sites that are only like 1-3 inches. But today and the past 2 days - she doesnt seem as sticky as she was and her leaves up top began to fade yellow a bit - i upped her calmag - shes been steady rocking a 5.8 ph and between 1100-1400 ppm the past few weeks and a RH of like 45%. She has red hairs but i think i may have popcorned this one out - it legit hurt my soul to remove budsites lol Give me advice and lmk if you need more pics!!! Im just a bit lost as to when to start flushing or if im even close to harvest - the buds dont seem dense at all bc i have so many sites or i fucked it up lol any advice?

Doing good! Keep it up, no where near harvest. Don't concern yourself with flushing, just give yourself a pat on the back for making it this far and be patient!

I'd be running those plants at 800ppm.

1100-1400 is incredible. In both price and amount.

Looks good besides looking salty.

Bro this girls is a fuckin beast - she takes everything i give her - she was mostly at 1100 the past two weeks - you think knowing it down it 800-900 w some root stuff will make her pull it up better?

And no flushing feed till the end

Yah thats what I know - i KNOW that lol but my noob brain started reading a tricomb article and it was saying when the red hairs curl and the tricombs get milky - time to cut and my shit kinda looks like that no? Granted my buds arent dense yet

BRUH thats what im sayin - but im just a nervous noob that doesnt want popcorn buds lmfao
Harvest now thats all you will have. Wait it out. It won't magically produce popcorn buds when you go past harvest those are the sites on the lower part of the plant that don't receive as much light

To the untrained eye the trichomes always look milky tbh.

So much light refraction happens while looking plus a unsteady hand create a illusion when you dont know what you are looking at.

There is absolutely no way your trichomes are close to ready.

Looks great, good job so far! Definitely a few weeks left. Invest in a loupe or microscope to check the trichs but in the short term you won't even need to do that until the pistils are orange.

Ahhhh interesting - yah i noticed that too man. Id be reading articles left and right where ppl are like these are ready and these are not and to me they all look the fuckin same lol hopefully more grows will get my head right - ill post more pics in a week or two - what do yall reccomend in like 2 weeks? start flushing? get mason jars and humidity packs? I left 2-3 buds i cut off during lolipopping and in 2 days - the shit is crispy dry - that scares the shit out of me lol i dont wanna ruin the crop during drying!

3-4 weeks. I dont ever suggest flushing which you will find many here on the forums agree with.

Drying is a whole other ball game.

Popcorn buds make for some good hash.

yah so ive been saving everything ive trimmed off to make the plant use all energy to the big buds in bags in the freezer so i can make rosin and hash w whatever i have left.i just pull off popcorn buds under the canopy at this point.

Sooooo - img running a dwc - from what i understand - soil growers have the option of not flushing bc you can just stop giving nutes 2 weeks ahead of chop day bc the plant will use up all the shit in the soil and the stuff stored in the plant - but with DWC bc its directly in the nutes and you have to have nutes avail during flower - you have to run a cycle or two of florakleen and clean the girl out.

this makes 100% sense to me as chemicals surely taste like shit lol am i wrong here?

And so when i chop - i should hang dry in a room w 65-70% rh and once the stems snap and the buds are squishy on the inside but bit crunchy on the outside is when you move to curing bottles? anyone have any advice/tutorials or anything yall have used successfully?

Didn't recognize your running DWC. I have no advise on flushing for that.

RH is one aspect. Temp is another. Keeping it in the dark is another. Jarring at the right time is yet another. There is a ton that goes into it. So much in fact that half of it will be forgotten by the time your ready to dry.

I dont mind going over it with you but it should be informed closer to chop imo to be put into practice.
