Time to flower?

Hi everyone -

A first grow here, and am wondering if it's time to start flowering because of my space limitations (it's been 6 weeks since they first sprouted).

Also should I use larger pots . . there are some 3 gallon ones, but they are so big that the plants on the side wouldn't get much light. Is the extra dirt worth the tradeoff? And I've been watering them with 1 gallon of water + nutrient mix every two day (for 6 plants), should I up the watering?

Any pruning advice as well? I really haven't cut any leafs off except to top them. Thanks - it's been a real rocky start, but the advice around here has made all the difference!

You could start flowering now with a small yeild. I would add some more colas by LST (Low Stress Training) it would increase yeild and keep it short and bushy. Hope this helps.

Maybe a different reflector on the light to utilize more or the available light. I would try and find maybe some 1.5 gallon square pots and you should be fine. Those plants look really good.

Oh wow, plants are looking good! mine are larger but yours look much healthier, I had some more light, maybe that might help in development.

Either way looking good! with healthy plants like that I would wait a bit more for a nicer yield! keep us updated!

Yes in my opinion i would start, but id get second and even third opinions because im only judging from what i see in the pic :joint::peace::peace::peace:

i look at those tiny pots and wonder how often you have to water. due to the space and pots it is definatly time to flower

Thanks guys - I'm glad I am not the only one liking the looks of these little ladies :)

I started flowing 3 days ago, and tomorrow I'm headed to the hydro store to check out a new reflector + larger pots. A related question - it's not bad to repot them once they started to flower, is it?

@abudsmoker I water them every other day with 1 gallon of water. I'm starting to think I may need to start to water them slightly less, but more often - what do you think?

Attached are some new photos!
