Time to dry

Just wondering, I am trying to keep the humidity down in the drying room, have them hung upside down. I was worried it would get too warm in there so I put an ossilating fan on the ground. Not pointing towards the buds, but more like blowing on the ground back and fourth, figured keep it cool and keep humidity at bay. Am I on the right path?

What is the MAX the humidity should be?
Temp?

I would say 60% at the very most, ideally 45-55 range. indirect air circulation from the fan is fine. If u can't control the rh, I would suggest picking up a cheap little dehimidifier to at least help with the issue. Temps ideally no more then 75 max.

I mostly agree with Theexception except for the temperature. I dry in a spare room that stays about 82 in the summer and have had no ill effects, so I'm not sure about 75 being an ideal max. I would definitely not want my humidity over 60 or under 35. The key is to not let those buds get too dry before starting the jars.

Yea, thanks a bunch for the input. RH is 50% right now with the temps at 70F. Just wanted to make sure I was on the right path. Last batch I screen dried, but wanted these to look as sexy as they did when picked, not flat and squished.

If you don't want to get a dehumidfier you can pick up one of those damprid things for about $6. They will keep the humidity from getting over 50% in the dark.

that is a perfect combination. I agree the temps can get higher but then the rh should be lower to compensate. I've never been over 75 but I can see it being done effectively.
