It makes curing more of a visual thing until you get a grasp of it.

That link is something like what I do without the meters. I cut and trim. hang for 3-5 days untill the smaller limbs snap. At that point they go into jars. I check for mosture a couple times a day. you can see the moisture on the glass just below the lid. If I see moisture I "burp" the jars, open the lid and let them air untill the moisture is gone. repete untill you don't see moisture. If I get bud that is real wet after 24hr I remove from jar and dry untill they feel crisp on the outside of the bud. I seal the jars and wait at least 3 weeks before opening them. I would bet that runs close to what that link was saying.

That depends on how wet they are when you open the jar. If really wet/70% open jar for 5 hours or better yet gently get all

bud out of jar and lay on a rack of somesort for 3 or 4 hours until it feels dry on the outside again.

Put it back in the jar and close until its moist then open again until dry to touch.

There is no exact set amount of time to burp, just until bud is dry to the touch.
