i have heard that you dont use the same amount of nutes if you are using a bubbleponic system... is it true, if it is how much should i use, it sais to use 2 tbs of TB and 1 tbs of BB, is that right or do i have to use less because im using a bubbleponic sysem?

thanks 420... what should i do if i cant get grow big?? i have dyna grow (7-9-5), tiger bloom, and big bloom. what should i do??

go to walmart and grab some Alaska brand fish emulsion, it's 5-1-1 , not as strong as the grow big but it will work as a nice substitute....only down side is it stinks like.....well like dead fish...LOL

that would be in the garden section right? is it liquid or powder? do i use the same amount as the chart sais?

Yes it's in the garden section, it is liquid.Don't use it in same dose as chart for Grow Big, use it at 1 table spoon per gallon and use at the same times as the chart for grow big.

Also a great thing to do when using Organics in hydro, mix up your nutrient solution and then run it through a sieve or cheese cloth before adding it to your resivoir...that will get out any small debris......:joint:

as soon as you can I would switch to Grow Big, but no hurry you will be fine.I just think the 3 pack works great together, but if you can't get the grow big for awhile you will be ok with alaska.Grow big has trace elements in it too, but as long as your using some rich soil you will be fine, if you are worried about the trace too then grab a small bottle of Maxi-crop while you are at walmart getting the Alaska, great stuff tons of goodies, but you should be just fine subbing the alaska for now......peace and good luck.....

If your using DWC (roots always sitting in water), then go with 1/3 recommended nute strength for sprouts/clones, and 1/2 strength for older plants -

During flowering, you can ramp it up a bit more...

There is a lot of strain dependencies, so watch the leaves and check TDS. if you see spotting, flush and use a bit less nutes ... if you see yellowing on the tops, add a bit more nute juice...

If you will look at the plant on the left you can see yellow splotching on the leaves. I went from the original AG nutes to FF big Grow about five days ago. I used 1 1/2 tablespoons in distilled water. I changed the water and rinsed the reservoir before adding the nutes. Do you think I should empty again and add fresh water with a tablespoon only of big grow?
Plants are 25 days old. Setting is lettuce 18/6.

Thanks, Mike
