Thrips

i germed some beans a month ago, everything was fine and dandy, i had them in a homemade aero-tub, once i put them in soil i noticed these small trails like a snail leaves behind, then some white and yellow dots, i looked everywhere and found nothing, even used the microscope, i moved the plant into the veg room cus they are new mothers and it came back the spots, today i looked closer and did some research and found out they are thrips, my plan of assault hit them with insecticidal soap spray, let dry then hit them with einstien oil, spray surface area of room, then thinking of using a pyrethrum bomb.....any suggestions? does this seem adaquate or over kill? after my initial sprayings i will do the soap/einstien combo weekly for the next month, anyone want to add to this?

you reeeeeeally have to look close to see thrips. i would just choose one way to go, don't use multiple remedies. ladybugs are an option.

yes i seen them by chance, i noticed this when the pants were really young, i seen more damage on the upper plant and analyzed and i could see them moving, they almost look like the damage they caused, what makes me believe its them cus of the snail trail, silvery scratches on the leaves

Im having the same problems with thrips. I can tell you thrip preadators don't do shit and neither do ladybugs. I would try the spray or something made for them that's what im about to do.

alternating between using a combo of soap/ neemoil and pyrethrum is a good idea... so they dont become immune to one thing.

im about to use the dyna neem oil since i ran out of the soap....these are mothers and cant have these issues when i pull clones

after 2 applications of soap the damage has stopped in its tracks and theres no sign of them, new growth has no damage and those sticky blue cards have nothing on them, still gonna neem em in a week
