Thoughts on my Pennywise (Last week)

Hey guys,

Just wanted a little feedback, I'm gonna harvest probably next week (after a flush this week)

I'm gonna be at 8 weeks next monday.

I wanna have as much as CBD as possible.

Thanks !

Another 3 weeks
Hum, It's my first time growing high CBD strain, but it is said everywhere where I'm looking for this strain about 60 days flowering time. So, it's gonna be 60 days the 5th, and I think I'm gonna cut them next week unless someone assure me it's not looking good, they are big enough and the tri are turning milky with a lot of brown hair. You think it's not a good idea, do you have experience with this strain ?

Thank you :)

I'm into growing CBD strains but not positive when it's best to chop. If they are all getting milky with very few white hairs then that's good enough for me. I doubt it's that critical.

I'd like to get colas like that on mine as so far the yields suck but another round coming up soon.

:peace:

Have my first cbd in veg still. Dancehall, and boy is she a sweet girl with a healthy thick bushy structure. Very interested to hear if there is a standard for ripening that differs from the thc pure strains. I use a jeweler's loop to observe trich coloration and planned to just treat it like that. The thought had not occurred to me that cbd might have different optimal times for peak cbd vs thc.
Hopefully someone knows, and can enlighten us.

I heard you need to chop them earlier, I might be wrong tho but I found some thread about it, it's gonna be 8 weeks the 5th of this month, so exactly 60 days, and they said 60-67 days max for this strain.

yesterday, I was gonna start the flush (with flawless finish from advanced nutrient) But finally, I used overdrive a last time.

Next time I'm gonna water them, I'm gonna flush them for 1 week, then harvest. Probably 10 more days but no more.

Right on, I honestly have gotten away from using day count's to determine harvest. Using trich ripeness has worked so well I don't even want to think about when it's"supposed" to be done. I wonder if there's a similar indicator like clear/cloudy/Amber, or at what stage in that process is best to cut for the desired cbd effect

Oh yeah, days count means nothing really, but it can gives you an indicator, for exemple, at the same time I'm growing NYCD from soma, and it's far away from being finished and it's been 8 weeks too.

For now, my pennywise are milky, and a lots of amber hairs. They are almost ripe!
