Thoughts on cloning

So I have seen a lot of posts lately about trouble with cloning. Lots of pics of ugly clones, that will in all likelihood pull through, but I want to improve my cloning.

This is a batch of some clones that are just starting to root...

ugly right?

They will root and recover, but still.

problem is the plant you started them from . if you had that plant being hit hard with nutrients and healthy very green . the clones you cut off them will store the nutrients and stay green until they root . they ran out of nutrients that's why they look like that . suggest next time. put some nutrients in your water , 1/4 strength . it will take longer to root but at least they will stay green .

Buuuuuuuuut, after spending who knows how much on rock wool cubes I finally but a small cloner for about $62 with tax.

The improvement is remarkable! Roots after 7 days. No yellow leaves. And it's pretty much plug in and play set up. Fill with water and done. No constant spraying... but you can if you want ;)

It won't take long to save money on cubes. Highly recommended.
