Thoughts about mixing MH and HPS lighting

So I sit and I ponder what I wish to do. Im not wanting to use my 1000 watt lights really anymore although they do put out the lumnes they cost money and can draw attention to run.That leaves me this.I have 2 1000 watt mh and 2 1000 hps I was used to using.I have 1 hps 400 watt lioght and 1 400 watt hps light.I am wanting 2 400 watt lights in my grow rooms and was thinking.I know thisw combo would be fine for veg.What would be the cons or pros of using 1 hps and 1 mh in the room and just swaping the 2 hanging psoition once or twice a week all the way through.Unless someone has a reasonable conversion bulb for the mh ballast so I can make it output hps for flowering.So my fellow siters lets see what you guys think.Or if anyone wants to trade 2 400 watt lights for a 1000 watt light let me know..

Well, you are giving the plants more variety in spectrum but at the same time not nessacarily the right spectrum, you probably already new that though. Theres no doubt it wouldnt work because in theory it is the same as using a HPS for both stages and that works fine thats my opinion anyway. Thanks for the thought.Kinda what I was thinking. Can be done but the 1 MH might loose me some density or bud growth.I may have to break down and grab another hps ballast so Im off to ebay..
