Those who've died cleaning up 9/11 number far more than those who died in NYC on 9/11

Sad to say that it comes as no surprise. With tech comes a new manufacturing, and you can't half-life an immediate event like that one (so-to-speak).

I know the building techniques and materials were older, but still, it was more advanced than mud and stone.

Probably the most horrific day of my life (and I've been around quite a while) and I just watched it on TV.

Flight 93 crashed not far away from me. I get an errie feeling when I visit the memorial there...

The service men who went overseas to fight them had casualties also...don't forget them...It was all part of that horrible day.

and our 4-legged rescue heroes as well..

I don't know about you, but I'm afraid of a brave new world in which the nuclear winter resulting from a significant exchange would be touted as the cure for global warming!

I'm going to have to be a little more optimistic than that. We'll find a way to get through the next 4 years and hire a new boss in 2020.

The new boss better be young, he/she will have lots of work to do.

sad that our health care in america sucks.. wen i was in the elevator union i had great coverage for me and my family,, i was injured, got workmans comp, which is a real fraud,,insurance companies invest and pay with the interest,,not a penny lost,, they make money off my pain..now i have medicare which is crap, my wife has NO coverage and my son has childcare provided by the state.. if i wer gay my husband would get coverage through social security,,but im straight so they have more rights than me now too.. my wife has no coverage and i cant afford a plan for any of us..thats why im a care giver,, i just want to help others in pain who cant afford real dr. care..

unrelated...any of you believe the 911 buildings fell after being painted with thermite? the way they fell like demolition causes lots of speculation and has me wondering if it was our own government finding reason to go to war...

no matter the loss of lives is a sad reminder
