Will work.
doesn’t need anything major to run it either.
I used to run mothers and clones in a DIY box although slightly bigger than this it served it’s purpose and was only running a 200w CFL.
always had plenty of room in it.
like you said bonsai mother, just don’t be afraid of taking clones and just tossing them or giving them to friends etc to keep her producing decent branching for cloning.

A tent that size was what inspired me for my newest spot. Just got it up and running this week with things I had left over/laying around.
The area being used at the moment is about 36” wide, 20” deep and 20” tall
Using 2 fish tank lights I have
Ones 55watts and other is 15 watts
Overall space is odd shaped to say the least but this is my new sprout and potential bonsai mom spot for now
I’d say you’d be good to go already knowing you’ll be bending her down and manipulating it to stay smaller

You missed a trick there with those clear pots!
Use the blue cups for pots and use the clears as humidity domes

My newest spot for seed starting as I’m not having any down time between grows for a while and this will also allow me to keep a small amount of clones and keep cloning the clone if it outgrows the shelf in that time.
This shelf is in my storage area on the false wall that’s built in the master bedroom to hide my grow closet.

Yeah I still have to cover those up with something dark. I am interested in seeing root mass with these though, thus the clear cups

Just watch out for algae growth can always drop them into a blue cup for coverage.
something I used to do with clones was use the little sundaes desserts you can get from the supermarket.
As they had a small lid for humidity and were completely clear.

50-100w LED with dim function ideally or 150-250w of CFL light.
you could even get a blurple to run this tent.
