Hello all just looking on some input.I'm thinking about ordering this light and was wondering if there might be a better option for the money or if anyone has used one.

What kinda area are you trying too cover? Are you going to veg and flower with this light? Also what is your top dollar on budget. I stand by my signature lol but I know some people man!

If that's all the $$ you can spend I say save for one of the $150 HPS light specials on Amazon and rock with that. Something like this:

Until you can save for a better light later or build an LED yourself that will rival or surpass the other light. And that's if you feel a need to change the HPS after you use it.

Or A19/e27 bulbs. I think they are even better than HPS now. Plus you can re-use them as normal bulbs if you go upgrade.

Find a deal on 2700k CCT whites, get some socket adapters an power bars. You can be up and going in an afternoon.

I was looking to veg with this light I have a 1000 and a 600 hps for flower

just use the 600 with a solid bulb and veg it out.

I don't know enough about electrical power to mess with it. I would probably burn my place down lol

If you go with that, just be aware that this "800W" light is really a 200W light, and reviews elsewhere are less than stellar. The price looks good though, if it will meet your needs. Personally, not something I'd buy.

The problem I am having is my 600 and 1000 are in my flower room which always has something in it. I have a 4 bulb t-5 but my plants have outgrown it I'm looking for a replacement that will get me through the small tree stage until they are moved over to my flower room

3 of the cobs worked and on of the "lenses" melted

it went back the next day

This. T5's and even three 2-bulb T8s in veg does a nice job. A 2 bulb T8 fixture at Lowes is $19 or the junky wal mart one is $10.97. 2 bulbs about $8. About $75
Or go on eBay and get a 4 or 6 bulb T5 for slightly more.
