As an herbal gladiator, this is my coliseum.This is the coliseum without the lights in the center. 2-3 cool tube reflectors will be placed where the light fixture is in the picture. I will be using 2 1000w bulbs for the first run, then try 3 600w after. The air will come from outside the room and pull through the cool tubes and out the exhaust vent in the ceiling. This setup holds 65 plants. Its made with 4" pvc water line. Scribe, sit back, and watch the battle.

the dimesnsions are 5'x5'. if you have any doubt just sit back and watch....I dont mean that criticism is bad...not what im saying. I will be posting updates all the way till harvest. the plants will veg for atleast another week then into the "Coliseum".

Yes, I clone my own plants. Im going to be filling this up with Mr. Nice(G13xHash Plant) for the first run. After the Mr. Nice will be Blue Dream Haze. Some strains do great in this setup, some not so great. I know a couple of the "OG" strains do do awesome.
 
Ive got my ebb and flow lines hooked up. I drilled out the pvc with a 7/8" spade bit, and tapped with a 3/4-12. I just had to wrap some 3/4 nipples in teflon tape, and I had no leaks. The pump is 1500 gph, and fills the top which is 5' + no problem. The cool tubes will go in soon enough. Im def going to switch to 3 tubes next time, with 600 watters. Im cutting cocomat into strips, and placing it under my 3.75" baskets. The plants will be around 14" when they go in.

id only grow low ryders and other autoflower strains in this. good luck man, ill be following this shit
 
Subscribed. Very unique concept. Unique is good after seeing hundreds of pictures of closets and Styrofoam beer coolers with CFLs in them. Rock on!
 
well i was cutting the intake for my cool tubes, and I cut into a hot water line. @ days later I still cant use my hot water...the cut is almost the lowest point of the house, all the water ends up there. I tried soldering but the pipe is rolled copper and its in a bend, no good. so i tried JB weld, and sprung a pinhole leak with 2 differnt applications. So i just tried JB quik weld, so hopefully the water is almost gone and this stuff sets up alot quicker, crossing my fingers.
 
if that doesn't work, try a compression joint. works with a compression ring and threads, we (plumbers) use it all the time on rolled copper....
