This is a severe case of over watering right?

Doing the hempy bucket method with perlite/coco mix and perlite at the bottom.

They usually need water ~every 2 days. I watered about 2 days ago but kept the light off longer than normal 1 day to let a hot shot strip to be used. Watered last night before turning the lights on again and this is what I woke up to today. It seems like its about half the plants that look like this

Bump can I get a confirmation with the new pictures? I emptied out all excess water from the "water table" now just hoping for the best.

Im a semi experienced grower so Im 99% sure I over watered and just wanted some confirmation

To be more exact theyre in hempy buckets (this system is new to me I did ebb and flow before this) with 2" perlite at the bottom and ~50/50 coco perlite mix on top (probably higher on the coco if anything). The plants are under 400 watt metal halides with a 24 hour cycle. I got some new plants from a fellow grower that had a spidermite infection which I thought I took care of but I noticed a small infection on surrounding plants. To combat it I turned the lights off for 24 hours stopped all airflow in the room an used hot shot strips (this was 1 day after watering). I neemed the plants, watered like I normally would (which I think was my mistake because of the 24 hour no light/air flow) and turned the lights back on when the neem dried. Woke up this morning and thats what the majority of the ones I watered fully looked like (I have some in hempy buckets that Im not filling to the brim yet due to the roots not being established and they looked fine)

I water at 6 - 6.2 every 2-3 days with CNs17, liquid karma, silica blast and root tonic

Hope this helps

well to be honest im not 100 on the over water.

but ur dead leaves look exactly like my babies do. and its only 2 things i could have done. over waterd. or over fert.
im leaning torward over waterd tho. but it can certainly be over fert.

Im leaning towards over watering because its only some of the plants doing it and all of the young plants arent so Id think theyd have reacted the worst had it been too much nutes.

yea she dont look healthy at all.. over watered. the roots are probably drowning from not enough oxygen down there, not to mention bad bacteria are probably thriving there as well.
it doesnt look like it has a root system at all. It doesnt look over nuted, it looks like it never got a chance to get nutes in the first place. I'd shit can it and take a look at the roots while your at it. best way to learn right? break it open and look, its broken already might as well.. but like i said the leaves dont look burnt they look diluted. but Im not that experienced ;)

i say its a weak light and too strong a fan on it. my fan is right on the bottom, lollipopped portion of my plant. and it looks like that. but just down there

dude pull that s*** out and set it on your patio in the sun, or in your sink. bring a fan and have it blowing on the dirt. she aint dead yet. meanwhile you should cut at least 15 quarter size holes on the bottom of that bucket, and some more on the sides(near the bottom).

After thinking about this some more I believe I actually over neemed/turned the lights on too soon when I did.

The plants were literally picture perfect the night before. The root system was extremely healthy. If youre not familiar with the Hempy system youre actually SUPPOSED to have 2 inches of water sitting in the bottom of it after a fresh watering and every one that died was using that 2 inches of water in 2-3 days completely. That said the majority are already starting to show new growth so now I just need to figure out which Id like and which arent worth the time. Expensive lesson but one I can hopefully pass onto you guys. Ive ALWAYS used Neem in the past with as a preventative spray with never and ill effects but this time I admittedly went much heavier than I typically do and probably should have gave them longer than a few hours with proper airflow to dry before turning the lights back on. Regardless thanks for the help.

The light is a 400W metal halide in a vented hood. Do you think maybe fan + neem could have done it? Ive had a VERY small amount of leaf damage in the past due to too much airflow but thats about it. These plants looked great 12 hours before.

Hempy system is made to have ~2inches of standing water. Been working beautifully so far.
