Here is a 150 HPS i have a small grow up. 1 or two plants. Is this one gonna work with a few cfls?

there is like zero that ship to canada so im limited

I just scanned the listing, and it appears it would work for one plant. The only thing that comes to my mind is how safe is that ballast? It looks like one of those cheapy diy ballast kits you buy stuffed into an amo box. Maybe I am just paranoid. Also you would want to choose a strain that would not get to large because i don't think you are going to get much if any light penetration with that.

Check out High Tech Garden Supply, I think their 150 HPS costs less - they also sell on ebay

i will have a few cfls on the sides as well.. i just didnt want to have cfls for colas too you know? Im hoping it works a little better then just cfls.

that is shit man , i got a 400w ballast bulb and 2 sockets for a total of 50 bucks and that included shipping

Check out what Growone did with 3 42 w cfls - I think he called it Growtube part deux or something. Main cola over 1 oz!! impressive. Those cfls ara capable bulbs but you have to keep them close. No vacations

dude i dunno where u got a 400w hps set up for 50 bucks but if so u should post some shit cause people are paying 100's for that shit
